Moving The Heifers

This weekend we sorted the 11 heifers who are pregnant with their first calves off the big pasture and brought them home. Some of them are due to calve in March- and birthing can be unpredictable so we brought them home for loser monitoring. We make sure the girls have extra mineral supplements to help their nutritional needs for their last trimester.
